Rep. Van Epps Makes it to all of TN07’s 14 Counties
I was proud to complete visits to all 14 counties across Tennessee's 7th District. What I’ve seen and heard across our communities has only reinforced what we already know: we’ve got to bring Tennessee common sense to Washington. The values that define our district—our commitment to family and service, our deep belief in self-government, and our steadfast defense of freedom—aren’t just ideals, they’re how we live every day here at home. It’s an honor to represent the 7th district of Tennessee, and I’ll keep fighting to make sure your voice is heard.

“On Wednesday, February 18th, Congressman Matt Van Epps made a visit to the Benton County Veterans Center in Camden TN. Our facility houses the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2109, Disabled American Veterans CH. 31, and the American Legion Post 102 of Camden. During his visit, Van Epps talked with the members of our three Veterans organizations, answering questions about our concerns with Veterans issues here in Benton County. One of the main issues addressed was the need for more rural transportation to and from the Veterans Administration hospitals and offices. Other issues were also addressed. Being a Veteran himself, this need was not taken lightly by Congressman Van Epps. At no time did he ever seem to be rushing to leave, or worried about his next commitment for the day, like we have had with other officials in the past. I believe he will be an asset for all Veterans in Benton County, not just for TN. 7th Congressional District. I look forward to many more visits from Congressman Van Epps in the future.” -Michael White, Adjutant, VFW Post 2109
