Hello, it’s Congressman Matt Van Epps. I represent Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District! Since coming to Congress, I have had the privilege of spending some time in Wayne County!

I was honored to meet with Wayne County elected officials in Waynesboro. During the visit, I was also able to sit down for a discussion with Chuck Koblenz on WWON and visit The Bridges in Waynesboro, which features an extremely rare double-span natural bridge. Find out more about these visits herehere, and here

Wayne County is a genuinely special place where generations of families have chosen to build their lives with faith, service, and patriotism at the center. Whenever I get the privilege to visit, I always see why the residents take so much pride in their home. There is a bond within the community that galvanizes them around shared interests and core values.

“We were so excited to see Congressman Van Epps make a stop in Wayne County…. He got a chance to tour ‘The Bridges’ and our natural double span bridge, which is the only of its kind in the United States, and he was able to hear about the history of this area from our local historian. Afterwards, he enjoyed a meal prepared by The Alpine Restaurant at ‘The Bridges’ and met with local leaders of our county, and gave a quick, informative speech about his time in office and what he hopes to accomplish in the future. We are so appreciative of his willingness to be present and help us in Wayne County.” -Stacey Brewer, State Executive Committeewoman, District 26
